CNC machine tools, robotics, packaging and food lines, printing, plant and complete production lines, funded through leasing, hire purchase or refinance in the UK and more than 30 European countries, through one point of contact.
A bespoke pan-European funding facilitator for equipment finance across the UK and Europe. Established 1992.
ANCA Europe GmbH builds precision CNC tool and cutter grinding machines. The machines transform a customer's production, but the capital cost was slowing purchasing decisions.
When a long-standing customer in the Netherlands needed two machines, an order of around €650,000, the finance was already in place. ANCA has run a European vendor leasing programme with Oak Leasing for more than six years. The deal went through a funder's dedicated vendor portal, with rapid credit approval and e-signature documentation replacing what had been a slow, paper-heavy process.
The result: a German manufacturer closed a cross-border sale on a payment the customer could approve, the machines went into production in the Netherlands, and ANCA was paid without waiting on its customer's capital budget.
"Oak has been a crucial partner in helping our clients optimise operations across Europe."
Martin Winterstein · Managing Director, ANCA Europe GmbH
A leading French railway equipment manufacturer won a major new customer for advanced, custom-built equipment, with heavy upfront costs for design, materials and quality assurance before delivery. Oak Leasing analysed the project, built the business case and arranged around £1.1 million, bringing together debt finance, export credit and green investment funds, negotiating terms that stayed flexible across the build. Production started on schedule.
Read the full story →Long-lead projects like this are where stage payment funding earns its place. The funder pays the manufacturer's deposit and stage payments against an advance payment guarantee, the buyer pays interest only until delivery, and the lease or hire purchase starts when the equipment is working.
How stage payments work →Production equipment is expensive, long-lived and essential. Buying it outright drains the working capital a manufacturer needs for raw materials, payroll and new contracts. Leasing and hire purchase spread the cost over the years the machine earns, so investment keeps pace with the order book.
Whether it is a single CNC machine, a robotic cell or a complete production line installed across several sites, Oak Leasing matches the structure to the asset, the tax position and the country, and places it with a funder that understands manufacturing.

Every option is explained in plain English before you sign, with the term, payments, total cost and end-of-term choices set out clearly.
| Option | How it works | Ownership | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Finance lease | Funder owns the asset; you pay rentals over most of its life | Funder; secondary rental or sale at end | Long-life machines you will use for years |
| Operating lease | Lower payments, with the funder taking a residual value | Funder; return, extend or upgrade | Technology that dates quickly, regular upgrades |
| Hire purchase | Fixed instalments, with ownership passing at the end | You, after the final payment | Machines you want to own outright |
| Stage payment funding | Funder pays deposits and stage payments during the build, secured by an advance payment guarantee; interest only until delivery | Converts to a lease or HP on delivery | Build-to-order equipment from European manufacturers |
| Refinance / sale and leaseback | Release cash from equipment you already own, then lease it back | Funder during the term | Funding growth, acquisitions or working capital |
Your production equipment is a balance sheet asset. Refinance or sale and leaseback can release cash from owned machines to fund expansion, an acquisition or working capital, with the equipment staying on your shop floor. Larger European portfolios can be refinanced through an independent European funder, up to €100m per transaction.
European asset refinanceBuying a machine that is built to order in Germany, Italy or Switzerland? The funder pays the manufacturer's deposit and stage payments, each secured by an advance payment guarantee. You pay interest only on the amounts drawn until delivery, then the lease or HP begins. It is a structure most main clearing banks walk away from.
Discuss stage paymentsNot sure which structure fits? The complete guide to equipment leasing compares every option.
If you build or distribute manufacturing equipment, a vendor leasing programme puts a monthly payment alongside the price on every quote. Customers buy the right specification rather than the cheapest one, decisions move faster, and you are paid on delivery. Programmes also support smaller tickets, from £10,000, because the volume sits across your customer base.
Payment illustrations your sales team can present at the point of sale, in pounds or euros.
Sell into the UK and more than 30 European markets through one partner and one process.
A payment closes the deal instead of a discount, and upgrades bring customers back at end of term.
European manufacturing runs on cross-border supply: a UK factory buying a German machine tool, a Dutch engineer installing an Italian line, a multi-site group upgrading plants in four countries. Oak Leasing works with more than 40 funders across 30+ countries, structures deals in pounds or euros, and places each transaction with a funder that knows the local market, documentation and tax treatment.
One relationship and one process across every plant and country.
Production lines and upgrades funded consistently across several countries.
Each deal placed with a funder that understands that market's leasing practice.

Oak Leasing is not a direct lender. We arrange funding through our panel of funders, who typically pay our fees on activation; any commission is disclosed before finance documents are signed. We arrange finance for limited companies and other businesses only.
Almost any production asset: CNC machine tools, sheet metal and fabrication equipment, robotics and automation, packaging and food processing lines, printing presses, plastics and moulding machinery, 3D printers, test and inspection equipment, materials handling, construction plant, agricultural machinery and energy equipment. New and used equipment can be funded.
Hire purchase suits machines you want to own at the end. A finance lease suits long-life equipment where ownership matters less than cash flow, and an operating lease suits technology you expect to upgrade. The right choice depends on the asset, your tax position and the country, and we explain each option before you commit.
