Oak Leasing has arranged equipment finance in the Nordic region for more than 15 years — from large IT systems and CNC machinery to medical, scientific and airport ground support equipment. We place each deal with a funder licensed in the customer's own country, in its own currency.
The Nordic countries are some of Europe's most developed leasing markets. Businesses are used to leasing as a mainstream way to acquire equipment, documentation is often digital, and funders take a disciplined, data-led view of credit.
That makes the region rewarding for vendors and manufacturers — but it also means four currencies, four supervisors and local lease conventions. Oak Leasing handles that complexity, so a UK or European business can offer finance across the Nordics with one point of contact.
Each market has its own currency, regulator and funder landscape. We work with local funders in all four.
The largest Nordic economy and a strong base for industrial, technology and healthcare leasing, with deep vendor-finance experience among local lessors.
A well-developed leasing market with strong demand across manufacturing, food processing, life sciences and renewable energy.
Outside the EU but inside the EEA. Demand is strong in energy, maritime, construction and technology, with leasing written in NOK.
The only euro-zone Nordic market, with active leasing across forestry, engineering, technology and healthcare equipment.

Yes. Facilities are typically arranged in SEK in Sweden, DKK in Denmark, NOK in Norway and EUR in Finland, which removes currency risk for the customer.
Norway is in the European Economic Area, so its financial rules closely follow the EU's, but leases are written in NOK under Norwegian law by Norwegian-licensed funders. We handle that through local funders on our panel.
Standard transactions run from €100,000 to €10 million or currency equivalent. Deals from €10,000 are considered within an approved vendor leasing programme.
