These terms explain the rules for using www.oaklease.com (the website). Please read them carefully. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Who we are
The website is operated by Oak Leasing Ltd (Oak Leasing, we, us, our), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02737411. Our registered office is Lynx House, Ferndown, Northwood Hills, Middlesex HA6 1PQ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number Z5638866.
Oak Leasing is a bespoke pan-European funding facilitator for equipment finance across the UK and Europe, established in 1992. We are a founding member of the Guild of Business Finance Professionals, launched in 2024 to raise standards across UK business finance.
As a member, we are bound by the Guild’s charter. It commits us to act ethically and with integrity, to be transparent about our role and how we are paid, to recommend only products suitable for your business, and to prevent mis-selling. If you feel we have fallen short of these standards, please contact us so we can put it right.
2. We are not a lender
Oak Leasing does not lend its own money. We introduce and arrange equipment leasing, hire purchase, refinance and related finance with third-party funders, such as banks, leasing companies and specialist asset financiers. Any finance agreement is made between you and the funder, on the funder’s own terms.
All finance is subject to status, the funder’s credit approval and its terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee that finance will be offered, or the terms on which it will be offered.
When an agreement we have arranged is activated, we typically receive a commission or arrangement fee from the funder. We always disclose this to you before you sign any finance documents.
3. Who the website is for
The website and our services are intended for businesses. We arrange finance only for limited companies, for business use. We do not arrange finance for individuals, sole traders or partnerships, or for personal, family or household purposes.
Oak Leasing is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Because we arrange finance only for limited companies, our services do not fall within the FCA’s regulated activities.
4. Information on the website
The content of the website is general information only. It is not financial, tax, legal, accounting or other professional advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. You should take advice from your own professional advisers before acting on it.
We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date. However, rates, tax rules, accounting standards, regulations and market data change, and we make no promise that the content is complete, accurate or current. Articles and blog posts reflect the position at the date they were written.
5. Calculators and illustrative figures
Our equipment leasing calculators, worked examples and other figures on the website are illustrative only. They:
- use the indicative rate stated on the page, which may not be the rate you are offered;
- exclude VAT and any fees, duties or charges that may apply;
- are not a quotation, an offer of finance or a commitment by us or any funder; and
- do not involve a credit check or affect your credit file.
Your actual rental depends on your business, the asset, the term, the payment profile, the country and the funder, and is confirmed only in a written offer from the funder.
6. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry, a quote request or the “Email me this quote” form is not an application for finance and does not create any obligation on you or us. We may decline to act on any enquiry.
To obtain quotes for you, we may need to share information about you and your business with one or more funders. We will only do so in line with our privacy policy. You confirm that information you give us is accurate and that you are authorised to give it on behalf of your business.
7. Using the website
You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- use the website in any way that breaches any law or regulation, or is fraudulent;
- submit false, misleading or spam enquiries, or impersonate any person or business;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server it is hosted on or any connected system; or
- introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attack the website through a denial-of-service attack.
We may suspend or withdraw all or part of the website at any time, and may block access or submissions from users or locations we reasonably consider to be a source of misuse.
8. Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, design, graphics, calculators, guides and images. You may view, print and share pages for your own business use, provided you do not change them and you credit Oak Leasing. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.
9. Links to other websites
The website contains links to other websites and social media platforms, provided for your information only. We have no control over their content or their privacy practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them. We are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of them.
10. Availability and security
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors, viruses or other harmful material. You are responsible for your own information technology, virus protection and the security of anything you download.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Any finance arranged through us is governed by the funder’s agreement and any separate terms we agree with you in writing, not by these website terms.

13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies whenever you use the website, so please check it each time you visit. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
14. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
